“Drawing From Where We Are - An Exhibition of Recent Graduates from Belgian Art Schools” is a biennial group exhibition dedicated to emerging Belgian artists and contemporary approaches to drawing. It brings together nineteen artists who have recently graduated from twelve art schools, selected from across Belgium. Conceived in dialogue with the Art on Paper fair (2 - 4 October 2026), DFWWA highlights artists whose practices are deliberately transdisciplinary. They approach drawing not only as a mode of representation, but also as a tool for observing and examining the present.
Participating Artists: Chiara Bambusa, Amber Croonen, Zhiyu Luke Cong, Lucas de la Rubia, Ann De Nys, Justine Douard, Alice Erlos, Benjamin Estermann, Anahita Judaki, Khorshyd Khajooyi, Gouki, Szewing Law, Zazie Maroy, Emilie Masson, Hanne Schelkens, Milla Slangen, Cyane Theron, Pénélope Urbain, Trui Van Landuyt and Agata Wala.
Curators : Marion Adrian and Sungyoon Ahn
With the support of Vlaamse Overheid, Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, Art on Paper, Gilbard ASBL and LaVallée.
