Drawing From Where We Are – An Exhibition of Recent Graduates from Belgian Art Schools
“Drawing From Where We Are” is a biennial group exhibition dedicated to emerging Belgian art and contemporary forms of drawing. It brings together artists who have recently graduated from twelve art schools, selected from across Belgium.
Conceived in dialogue with the Art on Paper art fair (2–4 October 2026), “Drawing From Where We Are” highlights artists whose deliberately transdisciplinary practices encompass a broad range of media, including installation, photography, video, sculpture, and performance. They approach drawing not only as a mode of representation, but also as a tool for observing and analysing the present.

*A large part of the exhibition is located on the ground floor and is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Only the gallery area of the main room can be accessed via stairs. A member of staff will always be available on site to assist visitors.

Are you a local resident or a drawing enthusiast in Brussels? Join us for a life drawing session led by performance artist Mar* Szydłowska, followed by a discussion around the works in the exhibition. Please bring your own drawing materials.
