🄴🄽🄶//// The 𝕋𝕒𝕝𝕜𝕊𝕙𝕠𝕨 is a performance-discussion between two artists at the end of an interdisciplinary co-residency. Both artists will have developed their own project and invite the audience to join them in a conversation. On the last day of this residency, this encounter between two artists invites an audience to contribute with their points of view, questions, and imagination. The only rule of this debate-performance is: all seats are reversed.
The choreographer and performer 𝕁𝕖𝕟𝕟𝕖𝕜𝕖 𝕊𝕝𝕒𝕖𝕥𝕤 started her research project 𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙈𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙄𝙩 𝙏𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 by questioning the concept of time as a social construct which she attempts to embody in various ways. She will share the space and practice with ceramic artist 𝔹𝕒𝕣𝕓𝕒𝕣𝕒 𝕍𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕖𝕔𝕒𝕦𝕥𝕖𝕣 and her project « 𝙀𝙣 𝙍𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙚 », who has come to create vases in the space to the rhythm of the dancer’s movements.
During 𝟚 weeks, they cohabit in 𝕃𝕒𝕍𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕖’s room 5.1. One person explores time through performance, with her body as the starting point. The other one starts from movement to create ceramic sculptures through gestures and clay. For one, movement is the goal, for the other it is the means.
A celebration of this encounter between 𝟚 art disciplines, one of movement, the other of matter, one ephemeral, the other inscribed in duration, 𝟚 creative processes inscribed in 𝟚 quite distinct temporalities but brought together for 𝟚 weeks in the same place, in one and the same time…
On the last day, the public is invited to take part in this artistic collaboration so far in a closed space. Come and discover what happens when 𝟚 artists from different disciplines allow themselves to be influenced by each other’s universe!
