DESCRIPTION:FriskyFlexShow Silver Jubilee – 25 ans de ska-punk DIY à Bruxelles \n  \nNé en 2001 autour de quatre groupes bruxellois (Combi Drivers\, Skamuraï Munchies\, Mockingbirds et Expressure)\, bientôt rejoints par Happening Leek\, le FriskyFlexFellow a animé la scène ska et punk de la capitale pendant sept ans : une dizaine de concerts à salle comble et trois compilations entièrement auto-produites\, dans la pure tradition du DIY. \nVingt-cinq ans après le premier FriskyFlexShow au Spaceship\, le collectif se retrouve à LaVallée pour une soirée anniversaire. Au programme : \nCombi Drivers\, cinq garnements\, leaders autoproclamés du « snobcore ». Une énergie brute qu’on n’a jamais réussi à calmer. \nMockingbirds\, le big band bruxellois. Neuf musiciens\, des cuivres qui hurlent\, des rythmiques surf et une énergie rock. \nThe Pigeons\, le seul groupe encore en activité de la grande famille\, où l’on retrouve d’anciens membres du FFF. Le pont entre 2001 et aujourd’hui. \nSkamuraï Munchies\, du ska 2-tone à l’électronique\, en passant par la DnB et le dubstep. Une « créature échappée d’un laboratoire sonore »\, toujours imprévisible. \nNiko Platane (DJ set)\, figure incontournable de la scène ska bruxelloise\, il fait danser le public depuis des années. C’est lui qui ferme la soirée en beauté. \nQuelques surprises sont prévues entre les sets. Portes à 18h\, viens tôt! \n  \n🇬🇧 English \nFriskyFlexShow Silver Jubilee – 25 Years of DIY Ska-Punk in Brussels \nBorn in 2001 around four Brussels bands (Combi Drivers\, Skamuraï Munchies\, Mockingbirds and Expressure)\, soon joined by Happening Leek\, the FriskyFlexFellow ran the capital’s ska and punk scene for seven years: a dozen packed shows and three entirely self-produced compilations\, in the purest DIY tradition. \nTwenty-five years after the first FriskyFlexShow at the Spaceship\, the collective is getting back together at LaVallée for an anniversary night. On the bill: \nCombi Drivers: five rascals\, self-proclaimed leaders of “snobcore”. Raw energy that nobody ever managed to tame. \nMockingbirds: Brussels’ big band. Nine musicians\, screaming horns\, surf rhythms and rock energy. \nThe Pigeons: the only band of the extended family still active\, featuring former FFF members. Doors at 6 pm\, come earl!. \n  \n🇳🇱 Nederlands \nFriskyFlexShow Silver Jubilee – 25 jaar DIY ska-punk in Brussel \nIn 2001 ontstaan rond vier Brusselse bands (Combi Drivers\, Skamuraï Munchies\, Mockingbirds en Expressure)\, kort daarna vvervoegd door Happening Leek\, hield het FriskyFlexFellow zeven jaar lang de Brusselse ska- en punkscene in beweging: een tiental afgeladen concerten en drie volledig in eigen beheer uitgebrachte compilaties\, in de puurste DIY-traditie. \nVijfentwintig jaar na de allereerste FriskyFlexShow in de Spaceship komt het collectief samen in LaVallée voor een verjaardagsfeest. Op het programma: \nCombi Drivers: vijf deugnieten\, zelfverklaarde leiders van de “snobcore”. Rauwe energie die nooit te temmen viel. \nMockingbirds: de Brusselse bigband. Negen muzikanten\, brullende blazers\, surfritmes en rockenergie. \nThe Pigeons: de enige band uit de grote familie die nog actief is\, met enkele oud-leden van het FFF. De brug tussen 2001 en vandaag. \nSkamuraï Munchies: van 2-tone ska tot elektronica\, via DnB en dubstep. Een “wezen ontsnapt uit een geluidslabo”\, altijd onvoorspelbaar. \nNiko Platane (DJ-set): onmisbare figuur in de Brusselse ska-scene\, die het publiek al jaren aan het dansen krijgt.
