DESCRIPTION:Mojo describes Don Kapot’s music: “The Brussels trio’s grooves go blurringly hard\, offset by quieter fluctuating nuances”. Giotis Damianidis (bass\, guitar and effects)\, Viktor Perdieus (saxophone and miscellaneous instruments) and Jakob Warmenbol (drums\, percussion and electronic samples) co-create songs that are  “sometimes angular\, often hypnotic\, always with the head on”\, according to Knack (BE). \nSinger Renette Désir is kind of a star in her home country\, Haiti. A difficult journey brought her to Brussels in March 2025\, via New York\, where she met Don Kapot. \n  \nAfter a year of research\, the quartet gathered in the studio to record an album that chronicles Renette’s experience in exile. Renette was forced to flee her country —ravaged by gang violence— after her plane was riddled with bullets upon landing in Port-au-Prince. \n  \nThis concert marks the very first performance of this new project\, which\, despite itself\, is fully in tune with the times. \n  \nThe album will be released on W.E.R.F. Véritable “mercenaire du son”\, il distille des sets radicaux où s’entrechoquent Electro\, EBM et Techno Industrielle. Habitué des lieux alternatifs\, il est reconnu pour son énergie punk et son absence totale de compromis commercial. Derrière ce pseudonyme provocateur se cache un sélectionneur hors pair\, capable de transformer n’importe quel dancefloor en une expérience intense\, sombre et frénétique. C’est l’incarnation même d’une culture nocturne authentique\, décalée et résolument bruxelloise. \nAveline\nAveline est une musicienne et compositrice belge incontournable de la scène électronique bruxelloise. Issue d’une formation classique au conservatoire\, elle fusionne la rigueur académique avec des sonorités synth-pop et dark wave. Son univers se distingue par l’utilisation de synthétiseurs analogiques vintage\, créant des ambiances à la fois éthérées et mélancoliques. En 2024\, elle a marqué les esprits avec son premier album\, Amours Noires\, publié sous le label Unknown Pleasures Records. Sa voix rêveuse y survole des rythmiques hypnotiques\, oscillant entre contemplation et énergie EBM. Artiste complète\, elle collabore régulièrement avec des producteurs comme Docteur Lo pour enrichir son esthétique rétro-futuriste. Aujourd’hui\, elle continue d’évoluer vers une électro-pop moderne\, affirmant une identité sonore singulière en Belgique. \nFernando Wax\nFernando Wax\, espagnol et bruxellois d’adoption est plongé dans la musique depuis les années 80\, période durant laquelle il animait une émission Punk « Les Z’inomables » sur la toute jeune radio libre émergeante « Radio Panik » à Bruxelles\, mais également importait des disques du gratin alternatif qu’il écumait dans plusieurs disquaires renommés de la capitale Belge. Il est connu dans le monde de l’électro pour avoir tenu le Wax Club\, en insufflant un style propre à son club\, souvent à contre-courant du reste de la scène électronique du moment. Il a ainsi côtoyé et mixé avec des noms comme Mount Sims\, Robert Babicz\, Anja Schneider\, Alexander Maier\, Ripperton\, Water Lilly\,… Tout en défendant une électro-waves mélodieuse dans le clubbing\, il est revenu à ses premiers amours musicaux des années 80 (les deux styles sont intimement lié selon lui)\, il a créé les célèbres soirées «Ce N’est Pas De La Couille\, Voici La New-Wave»\, mêlant les classiques avec la florissante scène Darkwave actuelle. Dans la même ligné\, il a lancé l’émission WAVES sur vibration.fm qu’il anime depuis 8 ans. Il dirige également le label bruxellois RED MAZE RECORDS\, avec plus d’une dizaine de sorties à son catalogue. \nHIV+\nHIV+\, whose real name is Pedro Peñas Robles\, is a DJ\, musician and multi-disciplinary artist from southern Spain. Also a party organizer\, label owner and author of specialized books on the eighties period\, he emigrated to the south of France during his childhood and began his musical career in 1987 as a resident DJ in two legendary clubs in which he plays sounds Batcave\, Goth\, New Wave\, Cold Wave and EBM. In 2000\, he began a career as an experimental musician inspired by the industrial pioneers Esplendor Geometrico\, SPK\, Throbbing Gristle or Sonar. Known internationally as a figure of the Franco-Spanish underground\, his constant involvement in a dark scene which he has always defended rigorously over the past three decades\, and his impressive discography under the moniker of HIV+\, have been recognized as much by the criticism in Europe than on the other side of the Atlantic ocean. Expressing himself in his early days in a dark and percussive power-noise style\, he then explored other facets of electronic music and co-wrote the famous track “Novö Diskö” in 2006 with the famous French DJ and producer The Hacker. With his projects Adan & Ilse\, Fluxus or under his own pseudonym HIV+\, Pedro has worked and collaborated vocally with many artists from the Techno scene (The Hacker\, Millimetric\, Adriano Canzian\, Blind Delon\, Dave Inox\, Radikal Kuss\, AkA ) as well as for various labels (Divine Comedy Records\, Black Flames\, M-Tronic\, Khemia\, Tripalium\, Oràculo Records or Unknown Pleasures Records)\, he has officially remixed band as important as Sonar\, Hocico or Morbid Angel\, and he has been itself remixed by the best of European electronic music (Absolute Body Control\, David Carretta\, Millimetric\, Radical G\, Marc Hurtado\, Blind Delon\, Maman Küsters\, Radikal Kuss\, Alexey Volkov…). After playing live in Switzerland\, Spain\, Belgium\, Chile\, Mexico\, Canada and the USA\, HIV+ has been featured in industrial festivals such as Infest in Bradford/UK\, Audiotrauma in France\, Schlägstrom in Berlin or Slimelight in London. In 2022 and 2023\, HIV+ took the stage with Maman Küsters at the Ombra festival in Barcelona as a vocal guest. His vocals and incisive lyrics in Spanish have become cults in the Hispanic and Latin American EBM scene for the past two decades. His track “Novö Diskö” has become a classic of the EBM scene played by the greatest DJs. Pedro also played Threads Radio\, Rave Up\, Abaddon\, Reptilian Transmission and other radio broadcasts. \n  \nMandrak\nMandrak has been active on the Brussels electronic music scene for many years. He was a resident at Dirty Dancing. He has performed on many stages\, from 10 Days Off and Dour Festival to renowned clubs such as Le Fuse and Le Silo. His eclectic mixes feature the best in Indie\, Electro\, Techno and more\, all with dexterity and high energy. It’s always a great time to rock the dancefloor.
