DESCRIPTION:Faire de l’altérité une force\, de nos diversités une richesse. S’unir dans nos différences par nos différences.\nAvec l’exposition « MAUVAISES VIES ? » qui ouvre la semaine de la Pride à Bruxelles\, l’artiste Marc Martin envoie un message clair : Toutes les vies se valent. Au sein de la communauté LGBTQI+\, protéger les plus vulnérables d’entre nous. LaVallée\, centre culturel et de convivialité\, est le lieu propice.\nLa scénographie s’appuie sur cette idée de protection et s’articule autour de « Safe Places ». Confronté aux résistances et aux obstacles\, le public sera incité à enrichir sa compréhension des enjeux de la lutte pour l’émancipation et contre la stigmatisation.\nL’exposition s’ouvre à un érotisme décomplexé. Au regard de l’évolution des mentalités actuelles\, l’intime dans l’art reste un point d’achoppement politique. Marc Martin révèle des tranches de vies dépassant\, sans les exclure\, les représentations hétéronormées. En observant le regard que l’on pose sur le corps et la sexualité\, il interroge notre époque par ailleurs gorgée d’obscénité : Que peut-on afficher ? Que doit-on maintenir caché ?\nComposée de nouveautés et de photographies / installations parmi les récents projets de Marc Martin\, « MAUVAISES VIES ? » à LaVallée-Bruxelles se veut inclusive et fédérative. Une exposition sans indulgence pour l’étroitesse d’esprit\, la pudibonderie et le repli sur soi. Suis-je « normal·e »\, « anormal·e » ?
